About Kevin
Kevin Buehler has been in the car business since 1993. He started as a salesperson and was managing the store within four months, long before he became an independent inventory acquisition specialist under the name Kevin Has Cars. He loves the hunt.
How it started
"I pulled into my local Pontiac Oldsmobile dealership in my Porsche. Four months later, I was managing the store.
From there, in 1997, I went to Lexus in Baltimore, where I embraced internet sales back when Autotrader was still a print magazine and few people took online car sales seriously. I saw the opportunity and ran with it.
Next, I owned and operated Patriot Automotive, a used car dealership in Eldersburg, Maryland, for eight years before returning to the franchise dealership world in 2009, where I've continued to evolve with the industry.
I've always had an entrepreneur's mindset and a passion for people. Cars were the commodity; relationships were the business."
What still drives it
"I love the hunt that exists in the auction world. How every vehicle is a little different than the next. The sound of the auctioneers babbling is music to my ears!"
